Blue Mountain Park Animal Hospital — Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist Position

Blue Mountain Park Animal Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our veterinary team.

Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience or certification as a Veterinary Receptionist and/or Veterinary Assistant. However, we also welcome candidates with a strong interest in the veterinary field who are eager to learn, as training will be provided for the right individual.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated team player with excellent communication and customer service skills, who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and genuinely enjoys working with both animals and people.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting veterinarians and veterinary staff with patient care and daily hospital operations

- Cleaning and maintaining treatment, exam, and hospital areas

- Supporting reception duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting      clients as needed

- Providing compassionate and professional client service

Position Details:

- Part-time position with the possibility of transitioning to full-time

- Weekday and weekend shifts required

Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

- Reliable, motivated, and professional attitude

- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively within a team

- Previous veterinary experience is an asset, but not required
