Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Online User
- Set up new customers and products in the system.
Revenue and Payment Management
- Post sales revenue accurately.
- Match incoming payments with corresponding sales orders.
Intercompany and General Ledger (GL) Transactions
- Post intercompany transactions.
- Record GL journal entries.
Sales and Inventory Management
- Verify sales invoices against system records.
- Post inventory adjustments as needed.
Tax Filing and Reporting
- Prepare PST and GST filing information.
- Generate month-end sales reports and monthly AR aging reports.
Process Improvement and Collaboration
- Continuously improve accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls for efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision- making.
Compliance and Audits
- Respond to CRA reviews or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Qualification:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of one year of work-related experience (three or more years preferred).
- Previous experience with QuickBooks Online is considered an asset.
Technical Skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Knowledge of MRP systems and related processes.
Competencies
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with co-workers and external partners.
Language Skills
- Preferred: Fluent in both spoken and written English and Korean.
Reporting to:
Reports to the HR Manager or General Manager, depending on task requirements.
