Junior R&D Technician은 Costco, Aldi, Sam’s Club 및 한국 주요 유통업체에 납품되는 제품의 개발과 샘플 제작을 지원하며, 식품 배합, 품질 테스트, 신제품 개발 등의 실무를 직접 경험할 수 있는 기회가 제공됩니다. 또한, 컴퓨터 활용 능력에 따라 Microsoft Office 및 Genesis R&D 프로그램을 활용한 영양 분석 업무에도 참여할 수 있습니다.

주요 업무:
• 기존 제품의 배합 개선 및 수정
• 신규 제품 아이디어 개발 및 관련 규정 준수 확인
• 식품 과학 원리를 활용한 레시피 개발 및 소비자 테스트 진행
• Design Expert 소프트웨어와 통계 분석을 통한 원재료 비율 최적화
• 원하는 맛과 식감을 구현하기 위한 반복 실험 수행
• 제품 샘플의 품질 테스트 수행 (당도, pH, 점도, 수분 등)
• 장기 보관 중 맛, 향, 외관 변화를 평가하는 안정성 테스트 수행
• 경쟁 제품 조사 및 벤치마킹
• 제품 라인 확장 및 개선 기여
• 관리자 지시에 따른 기타 업무 수행
• 제품 개발에 있어 창의적인 아이디어 제안

자격 요건 및 우대 사항:
• 식품과학 관련 학사 학위 소지자 우대
• Microsoft Office 365 사용 가능자 우대
• 실무 중심의 문제 해결 능력
• 독립적인 업무 수행 능력과 팀워크를 모두 갖춘 분
• 적극적이고 주도적인 업무 자세를 가진 분

근무 조건:
• 근무 형태: 정규직, 풀타임

복리후생

1. 건강보험(Extended Health Benefit) - 입사 후 3개월 뒤에 적용됩니다 (덴탈,침,마사지,안경 등등). 2년 이상 근무 시 더 좋은 베네핏으로 업그레이드 됩니다.
2. 휴가수당(Vacation Pay) - 베케이션 페이가 적립되어 휴가나 필요하실 때에 요청하실 수 있습니다.
3. 초과 근무수당(Overtime Pay) - 하루 8시간 이상 일하셨을때 캐나다 법에 따라 임금의 1.5배 혹은 2배 지급됩니다.
4. 휴일수당(Holiday Pay) - 공휴일에 캐나다 법에 따라 페이가 지급됩니다.
5. 유급점심시간(Paid Lunch Hour) - 일하시는 시간은 7.5시간이지만 점심시간 30분 포함된 8시간으로 페이해드립니다.
6. 유급병가(Paid Sick Leave) - 캐나다 법에 따라 유급 병가 5일 무급 병가 3일 지급됩니다.

Inno Foods Group is a globally recognized leader in the luxury snack industry, known for crafting high-quality, innovative products. Our Research & Development (R&D) team is at the heart of our success, driving product innovation and recipe development.

We are looking for a Junior R&D Technician to support our R&D team in creating and refining products and samples for major retailers such as Costco, Aldi, Sam’s Club, and leading retailers in Korea. This role provides hands-on experience in food formulation, quality testing, and product innovation. Additionally, based on your computer skills, you may have the opportunity to gain experience in nutritional analysis using Microsoft Office and potentially the Genesis R&D program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve and modify existing product formulations
• Develop and test new product ideas, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Formulate recipes using food science principles and conduct consumer testing
• Optimize ingredient ratios using Design Expert software and statistical analysis
• Refine formulations through trial and error to achieve the desired taste and texture
• Conduct quality tests (brix, pH, viscosity, moisture, etc.) on food samples
• Perform stability testing to monitor flavor, aroma, and appearance over time
• Research and benchmark competitor products
• Contribute to product line extensions and improvements
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager
• Bring creative ideas to food product development

Qualification and experience:

• University degree with food science would be an asset
• 365 MicroSoft Office skills would be an asset
• Strong hands-on problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment and able to work independently
• Proactive and takes initiative
