We are currently seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and goal-oriented ambitious individuals to fill the following positions open at Langley, BC (Canada) :
- Positions: Freight Forwarding & Warehousing Branch Manager (Full-time)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Country Branch Manager to lead and grow our Canadian operations, encompassing both freight forwarding and warehouse management.
This executive role carries full accountability for business strategy, operations, financial performance (P&L), compliance, and team leadership, with a focus on scalable growth and operational excellence across Canada and North America.
Key Responsibilities :
- Executive & Business Leadership
Lead and oversee all aspects of the Canadian legal entity, including freight forwarding, warehousing, finance, and administration
Define and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability
Hold full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin optimization
Serve as the primary point of contact with Headquarters and global stakeholders, providing regular reporting and strategic insights
- Freight Forwarding Operations
Oversee end-to-end air and ocean import/export operations
Develop and manage competitive pricing and rate strategies to maximize profitability
Ensure smooth coordination with carriers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and vendors
Maintain full compliance with TSA, FMC, CTPAT, US Customs, and other applicable regulations
Act as the final authority for claims, escalations, and risk management
- Warehouse & Distribution Management
Oversee daily operations of warehouse and distribution facilities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipments
Establish and improve warehouse operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety
Manage inventory control, space utilization, and operational KPIs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate warehouse operations seamlessly with freight forwarding and transportation activities
Optimize warehouse cost structure, labor planning, and capacity utilization
Support value-added services such as cross-docking, consolidation, labeling, and distribution
- Team & Organizational Management
Build, lead, and mentor management and operational teams across forwarding and warehousing
Define clear roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and performance standards
Foster a high-performance, customer-centric, and compliance-driven culture
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational functions
Qualifications :
Fluency in English and Korean is required
7–10+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations
Proven leadership experience managing branches, warehouses, or full business units
Strong background in P&L ownership and business growth
Solid understanding of air/ocean forwarding and warehouse operations
Experience handling perishable, hazardous, oversized, or project cargo is a strong plus
Strong knowledge of North American logistics regulations and compliance standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Experience in sales, trading operations, or business development is an advantage

- Must be Bilingual in Korean and English (Verbal and Written)
- Eligible to work in the CANADA
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
