Ji In Development Ltd. is a growing general contracting and development company specializing in commercial tenant improvements, hospitality projects, and high-end residential construction across British Columbia and Alberta.

As our project volume continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead projects from pre-construction through completion.

Project Planning & Coordination

• Manage multiple commercial and residential construction projects simultaneously
• Develop project schedules, milestones, and procurement plans
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and clients

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage project budgets
• Review subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing
• Track change orders, progress claims, and cost reports

Site & Trade Management

• Work closely with Site Superintendents and subcontractors
• Ensure work is completed to drawings, specs, and building codes
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates
• Resolve site issues, RFIs, and design conflicts
• Maintain strong client relationships

Documentation & Compliance

• Manage permits, inspections, and occupancy approvals
• Review shop drawings and submittals
• Ensure insurance, WCB, and safety documentation are in place

Required

• 5+ years experience in construction project management
• Experience in commercial TI and/or residential construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
• Budgeting and contract management experience

Preferred

• PMP designation or Construction Management diploma/degree
• Experience with CCDC contracts
• Local BC code + permit knowledge
• Existing relationships with subcontractors/trades
