Position :  FULL TIME
Cook / Chef

Start Date: ASAP.

 Job description:

       ·         $12 hr to start, 3 month probation

·         6:30 AM-3:00 PM, M-F

·        
Own transportation is
recommended, ideally lives in Richmond area

·        
Perform food preparation tasks
such as making sandwiches, soups, preparing hot   

           
meals and brewing coffee.

·        
Preparation of foods, chopping
vegetables, ensuring that all food safety standards

           
are met.  

·        
Plating food attractively and
serving customers at tables or counters.

·        
Garnishing plates as needed

·        
Grill, cook, foods such as
breakfast, 

·        
Plan work on orders so that
items served together are finished at the same time.

·        
Take orders from customers and
cook foods requiring short preparation times,  

           
according to customer requirements.

·        
Clean and sanitize food
preparation equipment, work areas, counters and tables 

·        
Manage inventory in "last
in, first out" protocol

·        
Ensure kitchen is cleaned and
sanitized after service, wash dishes and pots as

           
required

·        
Mop kitchen after
service. 

·        
Practice "Clean as you
go" practices.
